Croatian property for Kempinski Hotels
A 32,291sq ft (3,000sq m) wellness centre will open in May 2009 as part of the new Kempinski Adriatic Istra hotel in Croatia.
The theme of the spa will be Greek-Roman in design and this will also be the theme for the treatments.
With two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, whirlpool and 16 treatment rooms, there will also be a hammam, various saunas including a tepedarium, laconium and caldarium and a fitness centre.
Product lines for the spa have yet to be confirmed but one will be local to Croatia, while the other will be a global brand.
Elsewhere within the group, the Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras hotel in the Tatras Mountain range in Slovakia is on schedule to open in March 2009. The property will boast a large spa and integrated wellness area.
