The SupperClub brand, launched in 1993 in Amsterdam, is currently seeking investors to open a site in London.

The company – which has since opened restaurants in Rome and San Francisco and plans to launch SupperClub Cruise Singapore and Istanbul next year – is to open a 150-cover restaurant with a lounge/nightclub as well as a stage for live entertainment, in the City.

Work on site is expected to commence in April 2006, with the concept design by Dutch architects Concrete, who have worked on the previous SupperClub sites, with design development by UK firm Hakes Associates.

Oak Holdings – the AIM-listed property development and consultancy group which is currently developing the 327-acre Yes! mixed-use project in Rotherham – has taken a 10 per cent stake in SupperClub’s London operation and will be overseeing its development as well as the concept’s future UK and overseas expansion.
