Disney and Universal raise prices
Hot on the heels of a price hike at Disney, Universal Studios have done the same.
With two increases, Disney has put prices up by US$10 (£6, €7) in less than a year. Now an adult can expect to pay US$95 ($57, €41) for entry to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdon, and US$99 (£59, €71) for Magic Kingdom.
Universal Studios has followed suit, by adding US$4 (£2.40, €2.90) to its single-day price, bringing costs up to US$96 (£57, €69) and US$90 (£53, €65) for kids aged three to nine.
Multi-day park packages have also increased. Price increases usually take place in the summer, so this suggests the parks are confident about the year ahead.
This year Universal is expanding the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, with Diagon Alley and new attractions, including The Leaky Cauldron and Gringotts Bank.
