The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Old Trafford in Manchester and Lord's cricket ground in London will host Test matches against Bangladesh next year.

Lord's will also host one of two planned 'neutral' Test matches between Australia and Pakistan in 2010, as well as the Headingley Carnegie stadium in Leeds, following recommendations by the independent Major Matches Group (MMG). International Twenty20 matches between Australia and Pakistan will be staged at Edgbaston, Birmingham, while the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff will host two international Twenty20 matches between England and Pakistan.

ECB chair Giles Clarke said: "I thank Lord Morris of Handsworth and his MMG, as well as Gordon Hollins, ECB head of venue partnerships, for the sensible approach they have made to ensure that the largest number of members of the Pakistani ethnic community across Britain can see the neutral Test matches between Pakistan and Australia." In addition to 2010 fixtures, the Twenty20 match between India and England in 2011 will be played at Old Trafford, while a Twenty20 match between Sri Lanka and England will be staged at Bristol.
