Palazzo Versace Dubai on track for 2014 opening
The Palazzo Versace in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is scheduled to open mid-2014.
The AED2,3bn (£405m, €475m, US$626m) project is currently under construction in the Culture Village master development on the edge of Dubai Creek on a 37,224sq m (400,675sq ft) site.
Palazzo Versace will have 214 rooms and suites as well as 169 luxury condominiums. The development will also have men and women day spas and salons, a gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, restaurants, a Versace boutique, business centre and function rooms.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a lagoon and sandy beach, pool bar and amenities, a pedestrian promenade along marina edge and view sculptured artwork in the public spaces and gardens.
The Palazzo Versace Dubai is the second hotel of its kind in the world, with the first having opened on Australia's Gold Coast in 2000.
