England to host 2013 Champions Trophy
England has been chosen by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host the 2013 Champions Trophy - the second time in nine years it will have staged the event.
The ICC revealed that the 2012 and 2014 Twenty20 World Cups will be staged in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh respectively, while Australia and New Zealand will host the 2015 World Cup. It comes as the former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sharad Pawar, was confirmed as the new president of the ICC to replace outgoing David Morgan.
Pawar has now commenced a two-year term as the world governing body's president, having served as vice president since 1998. "David Morgan has set the principles by which the ICC operates and now it is our responsibility to build on his legacy," said Pawar.
