A multi-million dollar resort and spa called Sandpearl will open early this year in Florida, US.

Sandpearl will be located on Clearwater Beach on the central west coast of the state and overlook the Gulf of Mexico.

The hotel will boast 253 rooms and include around 20,000sq ft (1,860sq m) of meeting space, a gulf-view signature pool and a fine dining area.

The spa will cover 11,000sq ft (1,020sq m) and was inspired by the healing qualities of the Gulf sea with therapies utilising Thalassotherpay and Salus per Aqua (Health via Water) techniques.

A full-service spa, treatments at Sandpearl will include an ocean-side massage while the Spa Garden’s signature experience will feature a warm water soak, cold water plunge and invigorating water massage. Details: www.sandpearl.com
