Great Britain's men's and women's beach volleyball teams have been given the green light to utilise Host Nation Qualification Places to compete at the London 2012 Games.

The British Olympic Association (BOA) announced that the British Volleyball Federation had been given the go ahead to participate in next summer's Olympics. BOA chief executive and Team GB chef de mission Andy Hunt said: "Britain's beach volleyball players are within reach of having the opportunity to represent Team GB in the Olympic Games."
