Hilton Worldwide has announced it has signed an agreement with long-standing partner Egyptian Touristic Resorts for the opening of two new properties in Egypt.
The dual signing will see Hilton Hotels and Resorts-branded properties launch in Cairo and Alexandria - expanding the hospitality group's portfolio across Egypt to 20 properties.
Hilton Giza Pyramids is due to open in 2016 and will include a large health club with a spa and an outdoor swimming pool. It will be aimed at business and leisure travellers.
Meanwhile, Hilton Alexandria King's Ranch Resort will open in late 2013 and will house an indoor and outdoor pool. Further details of both properties are yet to be confirmed.
Rudi Jagersbacher, president of Hilton Worldwide, Middle East and Africa, said: "The two signings will add significant value to our current, extensive network of hotels and reaffirm our position as the country's foremost hospitality company."
Egyptian Touristic Resorts owner Mohamed Ragab added: "We are delighted to continue our association by bringing two new quality hotels to the Egyptian market."
