Hold a Pictionary event for Drawtism
A new national campaign for autism, called Drawtism has been launched in Australia this month.
The concept behind the campaign is simple - if you've ever played Pictionary then you will understand the frustration of trying to communicate the simplest of ideas to the person next to you - a communication struggle that someone with autism faces every day.
Autism affects 1 in 160 Australian school children making it more common than childhood cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined.
The campaign invites you and your colleagues to host a Pictionary fundraising event for Drawtism throughout May (Autism Awareness Month in Australia).
Click to download background information on Drawtism along with flyers and posters for you to put up in your workplace.
Simply register your game at www.drawtism.com.au and get drawing!
