Ikos Oceania resort launches with Anne Semonin Spa following refurbishment
Ikos Oceania has launched in Halkidiki, Greece – the first of two Ikos Resorts properties set to open in 2015 – with a spa by Anne Semonin.
The 298-key Ikos Oceania resort, formerly the Oceania Club, has been refurbished with the help of Greek architecture firm Nimand – which is also working on the new-build Ikos Olivia that is set to open in May.
Sani Resorts and global asset management firm Oaktree Capital Management formed the management company Ikos Resorts to run the two properties.
The refurbishment at Ikos Oceania involved upgrades and an expansion of the facilities, in addition to a full rebrand. Two new food and beverage concepts were added to the property, as well as a heated outdoor infinity pool. Although the resort has opened, the expansion will be complete in June.
