Late 2009 debut for ARIA
The ARIA resort, casino and spa at the centre of the CityCenter mega-development on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, US, will open in December 2009.
The 61-storey high property is being designed by architecture firm Pelli Clarke Pelli.
Facilities at the 80,000sq ft (7,432sq m) ARIA spa will include 62 individual treatment rooms, three spa suites, a barbershop and a large balcony area.
The spa menu will range from skincare and massage therapies to hydrotherapy treatments. Formerly the City Center hotel and Casino, CityCenter is a joint venture between MGM Mirage and Dubai World.
The US$9bn (6.12bn euro, £4.8bn) mixed-use development is being built on 76 acres along the Las Vegas Strip between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo resorts.
Other attractions will include The Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas resort and a retail and entertainment district designed by Studio Daniel Libeskind called The Crystals. Details: citycenter.com
