A new themed visitor attraction is scheduled to open at London Bridge in the UK capital on 22 February 2008.

The London Bridge Experience is aiming to be an educational attraction highlighting the bridge’s history.

housed beneath the bridge itself, the attraction will combine a museum, a dark ride and a guided tour of the historic site.

A 3D movie with computer-generated characters from the past will explain the times they lived in, while visitors will also be able to experience what it would have been like to cross the bridge over a number of different ages.

The attraction’s walk-through dark ride will be free to visitors and located at the bridge’s vaults.
