DPP Shape has been appointed to draw up a new masterplan for the future of Colwyn Bay bringing together a range of schemes designed to transform the North Wales resort.

Conwy County Borough Council and the Welsh Assembly Government aim to develop a "clear physical plan" for the town, which incorporates plans for the redevelopment of Par Eirias and the Waterfront. DPP Shape's masterplan will be based on the existing Bay Life vision and will help support Local Development Plan proposals, which outline ways to attract more visitors and provide more leisure facilities
