Maximising TV screen use
Leisure Industry Week (LIW) saw the launch of Leisure Industry TV (LITV) from digital signage company Sedao.
Designed for use in leisure facilities, it allows operators to make full use of their television screens when they're not being used to screen live sport or news.
All in all, there are three signage solutions to suit a buyer's needs.
Firstly, 3Zone splits a TV screen into three sections – live TV, an advertising poster strip and a scrolling instant messaging banner – that works in a similar way to 24-hour news and sports channels.
SWEP HD allows as many or as few sections as necessary onto the screen at any one time. It can be used to advertise menus, special offers, upcoming events, live TV or all of the above at once.
Finally, 4Sign lets operators create messages and promotions that spread across four screens, or on a four-screen cycle. this is aimed at those wanting to spread a singular message across a site, or to try and 'hit' people across a range of locations.
