Nammos Resort Amaala to open with a spa concept that prepares guests for socialising
Nammos Resort and Residences Amaala will open in Q2 at Triple Bay in Saudi Arabia, the regenerative tourism development by Red Sea Global, with a spa concept of “boundless wellbeing.”
The resort, which will have 100 guestrooms and 20 private residences, is operated under the cosmopolitan Greek Nammos brand, which is part of ADMO Lifestyle Holding – a group of high-end global lifestyle and hospitality brands.
ADMO was created in 2022 as a joint venture partnership between investment companies Alpha Dhabi Holding and Monterock International Limited.
Described by developer Red Sea Global as a “social and solo wellness playground”, the architecture of the Nammos Resort Amaala is designed to allow for Nammos’ signature programme of communal experiences. Blending Greek and Saudi aesthetics, the architecture is by Foster+Partners, with interiors by Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio and Elastic Architects.
The resort’s service culture has been created to allow for a Nammos butler per guest, operating on the principle that “nothing is requested, because everything is anticipated.” The property is calling this philosophy “Invisible Luxury”. It means the guest experience should encompass seamless arrivals and personalised daily programming.
Nammos Spa
The Nammos Spa will debut the brand’s new concept of “boundless wellbeing”. The operator sees this wellness philosophy as a way to provide guests with opportunities to rest, recharge and make themselves ready for socialising, rather than a retreat focused on isolated recovery experiences.
The experiences designed to set guests up for “social readiness” are inspired by a mantra: “Rest up, move up, fuel up, show up”. The spa is seen as a place to “celebrate, share and live fully in the moment,” suggesting programming will feature social experiences.
Augustinus Bader will be the spa’s skincare partner, a regional first for the brand.
The spa’s signature treatments will be inspired by Aegean and Arabian wellness traditions.
There will also be a fitness centre for personal training, stretch therapies, group sessions, mindful yoga, Pilates and meditation.
Dining
The Nammos Restaurant will occupy a place at the centre of the resort, on its own private island. It will have its own infinity pool, cabanas and a private jetty for arrivals by boat.
There will also be two other restaurants at the resort: Nalu, a laid-back Latin American culinary venue with Asian influences; and Ilios, a Mediterranean restaurant and bar.
