The sport and fitness centre at Brunel University, Uxbridge, Middlesex, will re-open on 15 November following a complete refurbishment by new manager Energy Fitness Professionals.

The £400,000 revamp of the re-branded More Energy Fitness Centre includes a new interior layout and design, 80 Life Fitness cardiovascular and resistance stations and separate free weights, abdominal and stretching areas.

The centre serves more than 2,500 students and staff at the university as well as local residents. It aims to attract a further 1,000 members in the first three months of opening.
