Next Generation expands portfolio

Next Generation Clubs has acquired three new clubs – Amida Club Beckenham, Amida Club Hampton and The Odyssey Health Club in High Wycombe.
The leisure chain is also developing a new club in Swindon – set to open next summer – and three new clubs in Hertford, Blackpool and Glasgow, which are due to open in the next 12–18 months.
Scott Lloyd, managing director, said: “These latest acquisitions provide a great platform for our clubs in 2007. The group is committed to growth and is actively seeking new sites for development. These three clubs fit extremely well with our current estate of premier family racquet and fitness clubs, and further reinforce our position as the leading operator and club portfolio in terms of quality and innovation.”
