North Wales Theatre renamed Venue Cymru

The North Wales Theatre and Conference Centre in Llandudno, Wales, is to be called Venue Cymru following a public renaming competition.

Venue Cymru was chosen because it works well in English – Venue Wales – and Welsh.

The new name will be officially launched in June to coincide with the current £10.7m refurbishment of the restaurant and foyer areas.
