Orient-Express sails into South Pacific deal
Orient-Express Hotels, Trains and Cruises has agreed a sales and marketing partnership with Bora Bora Cruises.
Bora Bora Cruises operates two purpose-built luxury yachts with 30 guest rooms from its base in Bora Bora, Tahiti.
The deal gives Bora Bora Cruises the marketing support of Orient-Express’ sales offices around the world, while Orient-Express gains a travel experience which links its property in Tahiti, the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort, with other resorts and islands.
As well as booking trips aboard the yachts, guests will now be able to book packages combining a voyage with a stay at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort.
Dean Andrews, Orient-Express Hotels, Trains and Cruises’ North American vice president said: “Both the yachts and the resort are dedicated to offering travellers a luxury boutique experience where the limited number of guests enables us to offer special touches, ranging from star gazing on top of a look out at the resort to a cinema under the stars on a private island during your cruise.”
Orient-Express has invested more than $8m in its Bora Bora resort since acquiring it in 2001. Details: www.orient-express.com
