Developer Hanson Capital Management has submitted proposals for the mixed-use Teville Gate property development in Worthing, East Sussex.

The scheme will include a swimming complex with a health and fitness centre, a cinema, 24-lane bowling centre, bingo club, restaurants, cafes and retail areas.

Designed by Russ Drage Architects in association with Brian Rickard RIBA, the development will also include two residential towers.

Neil Perrin of commercial letting agents Hartnell Taylor Cook said: “This will be the tallest development in Worthing and has been designed to revitalise the area.

“With its important south coast location near Brighton, Worthing is well placed to expand rapidly over the next few years. Teville Gate is a key factor in that process.”
