Mobile sports facilities supplier PopUpArena has installed a new PopUpTennis court at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The venue has been put in place to take advantage of the expected increase in the number of people playing tennis, which coincides with the annual Wimbledon Championships. A full-sized court built from interlocking fibre tiles is on offer as part of the PopUp Tennis court, which can be adapted for a range of different sports and activities.

Blane Dodds, chief executive of North Lanarkshire Leisure - Ravenscraig's operator, said: "Scotland has delivered a number of world-class tennis players but we need the right programmes and facilities at a local level to get more children and young people involved."
