Pre-charged cameras a hit at Warner Bros parks
Fujifilm has begun selling pre-charged digital cameras at Warner Bros’ Movie World and Sea World on Australia’s Gold Coast allowing guests to use them immediately.
“Theme Park guests who have either forgotten to take their camera with them; found their camera is not working; or decided on the day to upgrade to a later model, are some of the reasons why purchases are made on-site,” said Fujifilm Queensland state manager, Nick Martland.
“Being able to purchase a camera of choice which is also conveniently charged and ready to go has proven to be a significant drawcard.
“Normally when you purchase a digital camera you are unable to use it until the battery has been charged.
“If the simple concept of pre-charging cameras for customers adds to a more enjoyable and convenient theme park experience, then it is definitely worthwhile.”
