Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) has reported a pre-tax profit of £189,370 for the last financial year, compared with a loss of nearly £150,000 for the previous year.

The results have been boosted by income from an England Test match against Pakistan at Trent Bridge, as well as a one day international versus Bangladesh. NCCC's successful LV= County Championship campaign last summer also helped the club to return to profitable trading for the reporting period.

"These financial results are very pleasing given the challenges that we faced last year," said NCCC chair Peter Wright.
