Hatfield’s Next Generation Club has teamed up with the town’s Galleria Outlet centre to offer shoppers a free five-day membership to the health and fitness club when they spend £75 in one day.

In conjunction with the promotion – which is valid between 8 and 25 September – the Galleria shopping centre will host a series of events to promote the ‘sport’ of shopping and encourage people to confront their fitness.

Supported by Next Generation, members of the public will be able to take part in several fitness tests, such as skipping on the spot to have their heart rate tested, racing in a static bike competition and shopping with a pedometer clipped to their hip.
