Six Senses to launch Evason in Dalat
Asia-based operator Six Senses has completed the first development phase of its latest Evason-branded resort and spa property in Vietnam.
The Evason Ana Mandara overlooks the highland city of Dalat, and has a total of 19 French colonial-style villas, most of which were built in the early 20th century.
Each villa is architecturally different, and the first phase of the restoration of the site has taken three years to complete.
Phase one of the project consists of five villas, comprising 19 suites, studios and rooms. Each villa has a private dining area and dedicated butler.
The second phase of the project, scheduled to open in April this year, will bring the total number of rooms to 40.
Meanwhile, an entire villa is being converted into a Six Senses Spa. Until this is completed, guests will still be able to receive an extensive range of treatments in temporary quarters set up in two suites. Early morning yoga classes will also be offered at one of the property’s pagodas.
Because the buildings are being restored internally, there will be no major construction work visible to guests during the completion of the final phase of the project.
