Själ utilises gemstones and minerals

By Mark Edmonds    09 Nov 2009

Luxury skincare brand Själ uses a variety of gemstones within its products to help promote general wellbeing.

Tourmaline is included to help stimulate energy contained within the product while rhodonite is said to strengthen the immune and nervous systems.

Rose quartz and amethyst are added to aid the stabilisation of emotions by reducing stress and tension, while blue sapphire from the Himalayas is claimed to provide purity and vibrational energy.

In addition to this, sapphires are also believe to stimulate the pituitary gland, which can help promote anti-ageing thanks to an increase in the amount of melatonin produced.
