Snap Fitness reveals 'wellbeing destination' club concept in London
Fitness franchise Snap Fitness has launched a next generation club in Chancery Lane London in the heart of the financial district.
The 12,000 square facility will combine premium training, boutique studios, instructor and digital-led programming and recovery. Kevin Yates, CEO of Snap Fitness EMEA, says this site showcases the future of the brand and elevates the 24/7 gym sector.
It is the seventh location for franchisee, Peter Dhillon, who says the club is designed to give members a completely different 24/7 gym experience. “From reformer Pilates and group cycling to strength training and dedicated recovery facilities, everything has been created to support a wide range of member needs,” he explains.
The offer also includes a gym with cardio, free-weights and strength training zones equipped with kit from Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Escape Fitness, Booty Builder, Physical Company, Wattbike and InBody.
Modality group training is also on offer, including reformer Pilates with more than 800 on-demand classes and 40 instructor-led group exercise classes each week.
The recovery options comprise a lounge with compression boots, massage chairs and massage guns, infrared saunas and a cold shower. A complementary towel is part of the service.
“We're showing that round-the-clock access and premium, multi-modality experiences can be delivered without a premium price tag,” says Yates. “This site demonstrates how we’re taking the category to a new level to create a genuine wellbeing destination, not just gym access.”
Founding membership is £69.99 per month for the first three months, rising to £99.99 from 1 May. Student membership is £59.99 per month for the first three months, rising to £69.99 from 1 May.
