InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened four new Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties throughout Central and South America and signed a second Holiday Inn in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The hotels include the Holiday Inn Manaus, Manaus, Brazil; the Holiday Inn Sao Luis, Sao Luis Do Maranhao, also in Brazil ; the Holiday Inn Express San Pedro Sula in San Pedro Sula, Honduras; and the Holiday Inn Express Rosario in Rosaria, Argentina. The Holiday Inn Buenos Aires Ezeiza-Airport - scheduled to open in mid-2011 - will be the first Holiday Inn in Argentina's capital city and will complement an existing Holiday Inn Express and InterContinental Hotel.

Holiday Inn parent, IHG, is one of the largest hotel operators in Latin America and the Caribbean, with 73 hotels across 20 countries and territories.
