Sport Relief launches GBP5m Scottish programme

Sport Relief has partnered with the Scottish Government to launch a GBP5m grants programme to benefit deprived people in Scotland, as well as in some of the world's poorest countries.
A GBP1.25m contribution from the Scottish Government's health portfolio and its International Development Fund has been added to GBP2.5m raised by Sport Relief as part of the scheme.
The Scottish Sport Relief Home and Away Programme will benefit projects such as North United Communities in Glasgow, which aims to steer young people away from alcohol.
