The American Council on Exercise has promoted Janet Frenkel to the role of chief operating officer.

Frenkel previously served as executive vice president of marketing and sales for the organization.

In the newly created position, Frenkel is responsible for the implementation and execution of the American Council on Exercise's overall strategic objectives as well as providing operational leadership for ACE's core and consumer business.

She has more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in behavioural economics and the fitness and healthcare industries.
