Structure-flex spheres support Air-Sphereing

By Mark Edmonds    17 Aug 2009

Norfolk-based Structure-flex has supplied 8ft inflatable Spheres to Spheremania Ltd for use in a new sport, called 'Air-Sphereing®'.

While traditional 'Sphereing' involves climbing into a sphere and being pushed to the edge of a steep incline, Air-Sphereing combines a Sphere with Airkix's 150mph vertical wind tunnel, giving users the experience of 'flying'.

Matt Doughty, head of sales and marketing at Structure-flex, says: "The fact that Air-sphere Limited is using Structure-flex's Spheres to propel people in a wind tunnel is testament to our ability to produce bespoke products where safety is paramount."
