Studio Fix gears up to launch wheelchair-accessible boutique with Lagree classes
A new boutique fitness operator launches in London in February 2024 in the form of Studio Fix, which will be located in High Street Kensington.
It's the first club for founder and owner, Najeeb Abunahl, who's been motivated to invest heavily in accessibility after being left temporarily in a wheelchair following a quad biking accident.
He was advised by doctors to lose weight or never recover, but struggled to find accessible gyms.
Studio Fix will be totally wheelchair accessible and the boxing class will be fully adaptable to wheelchair users.
The site will run to 7,500sq ft, housing three studios offering a mix of classes: yoga, boxing, HIIT, conditioning and strength-based lift classes.
It will also offer classes on the Lagree Megaformer – a patented exercise machine which offers a total body, low-impact workout.
Lagree has 500 studios globally, by only one currently in London – (MAD) that's located in nearby Chelsea.
Studio Fix will offer classes by Paola’s Body Barre (PBB) a concept which combines Pilates, barre, yoga and functional training.
This will be a second location for PBB, which has its main studio in Fulham. CEO, Paola Di Lanzo also teaches on retreats and offers classes on-demand.
Studio Fix classes will vary from 45 minutes to 60 minutes and be priced from £25 per class upwards.
