HEADWAY, the latest turf fungicide from Syngenta, is said to be the first ever multi-active to give control of both foliar and soil-borne fungal diseases.

The new solution provides what is described as cost effective combination of the fungicides azoxystrobin and propiconazole that is intended to give improved performance and greater security throughout the growing season.

HEADWAY is designed to treat a range of turf diseases including Fusarium Patch, Take-All, Anthracnose, Dollar Spot and Leaf Spots. Trials have also shown additional effects on Fairy Ring (Basidomycetes), Red Thread, Rust and Brown Patch.

The product is claimed to give full control over disease within eight weeks.
