Carlson Hotels has signed agreements to open 75 Radisson, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, Park Inn and Park Plaza hotels across the Asia-Pacific region by 2013.

The agreements cover all of Carlson's hotel brands; Radisson is leading the way with 43 hotels scheduled to open, bringing the total Radisson portfolio in the region to 72. The company has also announced the signing of four new hotel management agreements in China. These include the Radisson Hotel Chongqing Shapingba in Chongqing city in south west China, Radisson Hotel Wuxi Hi-Tech Zone in south east Jiangsu province and Radisson Plaza Resort Huizhou in south east Guangdong province, which are all scheduled to open in the first half of 2012.

The fourth signing is the Park Plaza Chengdu South in Sichuan province, which is scheduled to open at the end of this year. Also this year, Carlson plans to open 18 properties across the region. Nine of these will be Radisson hotels, including the recently opened Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam; the Radisson Marina Hotel Connaught Place and Radisson Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram in India, opening in May; and the Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit in Thailand, opening in August.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu in the Philippines will open in September, as will the Radisson Hotel Indore and Radisson Hotel Rudrapur in India, while the Radisson Hotel Amritsar and Radisson Hotel Greater Noida, both also in India, will open in December.
