Body weight training equipment supplier TRX has promoted former UK TRXSenior Master Trainer Matt Gleed to the new role of UK education and sales manager for the UK TRX team.

Gleed has worked in the fitness industry for 12 years and has played a key role in the growth of TRX in the UK.

He has worked with high profile sports organisations and athletes including a number of Team GB athletes, three Premiership football clubs and national health club chains.

Gleed was also nominated for the Fitness Professional 2013 award as a result of his efforts.

“My role has largely evolved based on the feedback from the commercial markets we serve,” said Gleed.

“Education sits at the heart of our business and this is certainly an area we are looking to expand in 2014, offering more courses across the UK to personal trainers and instructors keen to enhance their TRX knowledge, exercise and programming portfolio.”
