Grand Resort Bad Ragaz celebrates five-year anniversary with a new spa programme
The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in eastern Switzerland has developed a brand new one to five-day therapeutic relaxation programme to mark its five year anniversary.
Following renovation and expansion work involving CHF 160m (US$179m, €132m, £104m) investment, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz originally opened in 2009.
The Therapeutic Relaxation programme is the first programme to be launched by the resort in its new 36.5°C Thermal Water Collection. The collection marks a further milestone in the integration of thermal water into the wellbeing services offered by the resort.
In developing the programme, the resort’s experienced team of therapists obtained advice from water experts and doctors from the resort’s own Medical Health Centre.
The programme includes a yoga session, an essential facial which uses the essence of the resort’s sequoia trees, and individual bathing sessions in the thermal water. There is also access to an aqua gym and floating session in addition to an andullation treatment – a massage method said to treat organs which are functioning poorly, through mechanical vibrations and waves of infrared electromagnetic heat.
Other massages include a Thalgo Aromacéane essential oil treatment and a paraffin therapy for hands and feet.
