Retention Guru Dr Paul Bedford is to launch a new app providing health club and leisure centre operators with retention advice at their fingertips.

The free app, available for Android and iOS, will offer retention news, advice pages, a forum for operators to discuss retention issues and features from Bedford’s blog. Users will also have access to exclusive videos as well as Bedford’s keynote presentations given at conferences around the world.

The app has been launched to coincide with Bedford’s forthcoming Retention Convention, which takes place in Birmingham, UK, on 14 May. As well as being able to book tickets to that event, app users will access to a full listing of upcoming retention-related events.

“Tickets for our Retention Convention are selling fast, but followers on the app will be able to watch one of the day’s sessions for free,” said Bedford, who is an international speaker and regular contributor to Health Club Management magazine.

“I have been working on the app for some time now. It is an ‘in your pocket’ guide to activities and information on how to improve retention - something no operator can afford to ignore in this age of exceptional choice.”

The app can be downloaded by searching for Retention Guru in the apple store or Google Play.
