Aimed at consumers who are prioritising longevity and recovery, The Club provides an alternative way of socialising to conventional hospitality models, combining movement, recovery, hospitality, art, and architecture. 

French design studio, FP Homes, was responsible for the interiors. The colour palette  used is designed to support circadian rhythms and promote a sense of calm and artworks from internationally acclaimed artists, including Tracey Emin, James Turrell, and Olafur Eliasson, are featured to inspire and uplift. 

The offering comprises three fitness studios for dance, strength and conditioning, and low-impact movement.

The Lab is a floor dedicated to recovery with treatment rooms, a contrast therapy spa, a Swedish sauna, and ice baths.

The third element is a private members’ lounge and landscaped garden terrace. 

Katie Henderson, CEO at The Method, says the vision was to create a space that moves beyond the traditional gym model: “The brief was to create a wellness destination that felt immersive, restorative and emotionally uplifting, more akin to a boutique hospitality space than a traditional fitness environment,” she says.

“Art is an essential part of the emotional experience of the space. The artworks help to shape the atmosphere of the club – bringing warmth, emotion, beauty, and moments of reflection into the environment. 

“Following the success of our original Westbourne Grove studio – which has now been transformed into a reformer Pilates studio – it became clear there was a growing appetite for a more holistic, lifestyle-led, wellness experience that integrates fitness, recovery, hospitality,and community in a single destination.

“The Method’s programming is designed to support strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, recovery, and nervous system regulation, recognising that modern wellbeing extends beyond high-intensity training alone.”

Membership numbers are capped, and the prices are only available on request. Investment figures are not being disclosed.
