The REPS reports attrition rate of less than 10 per cent
At the end of February, the REPs carried out a comprehensive study into the number of people renewing their REPs membership and discovered an attrition rate of less than 10 per cent.
Over 14,500 fitness professionals have now signed up to the register and the future growth and consolidation of the Register is largely dependent on sustaining a low attrition rate.
To date, 4,222 fitness professionals have already renewed their REPs membership.
Cliff Collins, registrar, said: “Considering the number of people leaving the industry altogether or travelling abroad to work this is staggeringly high statistic.”
He continued: "The Register has come a long way since its launch in January 2002 and the high percentage of registration renewals demonstrates how influential the register has now become.”
