Three publicly-owned leisure centres in Bury have received redevelopments designed and fitted out by supplier Pulse.

The three centres - Castle Leisure Centre, Radcliffe Pool and Fitness Centre and Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre – have been equipped with the latest Pulse Fitness equipment while a new programme of 60 studio classes has also been introduced at each centre.

Jane Lewis, executive member for leisure at Bury Council, said: "This fantastic new equipment is going down a real storm with our existing members and we hope that many more local people will take these improvements as encouragement to be more active and lead a healthier lifestyle."
