UK population hits fitness danger zone

In its latest Basic Fitness Audit, LA Fitness has revealed that fitness levels among British people are reaching dangerous levels, with more than half of the population being unable to touch their toes or climb three flights of stairs without becoming breathless.

Fifty-seven per cent of the 1,000 new club

members interviewed had an unhealthy BMI of 25 to 30.
