Wildcats reach HMRC tax agreement

By Pete Hayman    05 Nov 2009

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Rugby League Football Club has revealed it has struck a deal with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) over unpaid tax liabilities.

Diane Maskill, the club's executive director, said: "We agreed a payment plan with HMRC in September concerning the club's tax liabilities. At that time a timetable for the club's repayments was agreed and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have stuck rigidly to that agreement. "Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will meet all their liabilities under the payment plan and expect that the debt will be paid off in full within the agreed time span."
