The health club within the Christopher Wren Hotel in Windsor has reopened after being seriously damaged by fire last year.

Members and staff of the club were relocated to another local club while the site was closed for six months for repairs, but many members were lost.

The challenge now, says club manager Charlie Thompson, is to grow membership again. “We’ve done a lot of marketing and have developed partnerships with the local community to help drive membership.”

Spread over three floors, the club has been completely refurbished and the equipment replaced with Precor’s CV and Sygnum strength ranges, which use the Fitlinxx gym management system.

A sauna and spa have also been added to the facility.
