Gerflor has signed an approved supplier agreement with Volleyball England for its Taraflex range of portable and permanent indoor sports flooring solutions.

Volleyball England is the recognised national governing body for the sport and is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of volleyball across England.

As a result of the agreement, Gerflor will provide Taraflex courts and technical support for the installation of the courts, especially important in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.

Having long been involved with British sport, both at the grass roots and top levels, Gerflor has perfected and developed a wide range of sports flooring products.

The company is already a partner with Scottish Volleyball and the Volleyball Association of Ireland, as well as the International Handball Federation, the European Handball Federation, British Handball, FIBA (the International Basketball Federation), World Badminton and England Netball.

In tennis, the ATP tour plays on Taraflex and, in hockey, the world championships were played on the surface earlier this year.
