Lighthouse making an impact at Jeld Wen Field
Lighthouse Technologies and TS Sports have recently installed a Lighthouse Impact 16 LED video screen, along with 20mm pitchside and fascia displays, at Portland’s renovated Jeld Wen Field, formerly PGE Park.
With design by Anthony James Partners, the main LED video display rises from the south side of Jeld Wen Field, new home of Major League Soccer’s Portland Timbers.
Lighthouse's new Impact 16 LED video product is designed for both indoor and outdoor arenas and stadiums, particularly venues facing conditions involving high-intensity ambient light.
With more than 74sq m (796.5sq ft) of LED video, the main screen not only lights up the stadium with Timbers replays and player introductions, but also custom video, animations and sponsor messages.
More then 152m (500ft) long, Lighthouse's B10 pitchside display runs the length of Jeld Wen Field's east side, plus portions of the north and south ends.
Finishing off the installation is an LED video fascia display, situated on the Providence Building in the stadium’s southeast corner.
Built with twelve panels of Lighthouse 20mm-pitch LED video, the display runs sponsor messages and game stats.
