The Institute of Groundsmanship has teamed up with Replay Maintenance and Charterhouse Turf Machinery to offer the grounds-care industry a new series of one-day training courses aimed at enabling delegates to maintain the quality, longevity and cost-effectiveness of artificial surfaces.

The tripartite agreement will present delegates with a Synthetic Surfaces Training experience that is unrivalled for content and cost-effectiveness, and will combine the three organisations' particular areas of expertise: - The IOG's renowned training, education and consultancy services;

- Replay Maintenance's acknowledged experience in maintaining all types of synthetic surfaces for optimised playing performance and maximised revenues and life expectancy; and - Charterhouse Turf Machinery's world-leading range of Verti-Art machinery and equipment for the maintenance of synthetic surfaces.

The Synthetic Surfaces Training schedule will commence in June and will be held at various venues throughout the country. Details are available on www.iog.org

A further development at Replay Maintenance has seen the unveiling of the company's new website (pictured). The site contains useful advice and tips for groundsmen and facility managers, and combines information about Replay's services alongside films of the company's Rejuvenation, Aquatrax and Fieldman processes in action.

Garry Martin, a director of Replay, said: "We want to be seen as offering the best technical advice in the industry to anybody that is involved with maintaining synthetic sports surfaces.
