Life Fitness launches natural motion rowing machine
A rowing machine designed to gives exercisers the feeling of a natural rowing motion, thus creating a challenging full-body workout, has been launched.
Equipment manufacturer Life Fitness’ machine, ‘Row GX Trainer’, features a patented ‘Fluid Technology Resistance’ system, designed to create a smooth and natural motion that challenges the entire body.
The system allows each user to feel, hear and see water churn in the tank, while its adjustable resistance design lets the machine adapt to an individual’s fitness level.
“The Life Fitness Row GX Trainer is for facilities that want to add a whole-body cardio option for exercisers, enhance small group training or create dynamic high-intensity interval training spaces,” said Chris Clawson, president of Life Fitness.
The rowing machine can be stored vertically when not in use to create more floor space in training areas. It was unveiled at IHRSA 2015, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center earlier in March.
