Physical Company launches ‘gym friendly’ Atlas Stones

By Lauren Heath-Jones    06 Jan 2017
Physical Company give atlas stones a gym friendly re-design / Physical Company

Fitness equipment manufacturer Physical Company is launching a range of weighted Atlas Stones with a gym-friendly makeover replacing cement with vinyl for improved grip.

John Halls, Physical Company’s managing director, said: “Atlas Stone training is certainly coming into the mainstream fitness arena now and we have designed a more gym-friendly product to encourage its inclusion in workouts and boot-camp sessions”

Atlas Stone training is designed to build core, back and leg strength and can be used inside, without running the risk of floor damage, but is strong enough to stand up to the rigours of outdoor use.

Halls adds: “Atlas Stones will forever be associated with strong man competitions but by introducing a choice of weights and more manageable dimensions and tactile texture, we believe our range will literally bring this style training within reach of fitness fans, instructors and personal trainers.”

The stones are available in four different weights: 15kg, 25kg, 35kg and 45kg and are priced at £51.82, £60.08, £68.84 and £73.25 respectively.

Physical Company, established in 1989, has been supplying innovative, functional and results driven equipment for fitness, sports and rehabilitation purposes for 27 years.

Physical Company produces high quality, commercial equipment and currently distributes international brands including: freeFORM, TRX Suspension Trainer, BOSU and Total Gym.
